Salesforce Payments

Salesforce Payments is a plug-in for the B2C Commerce Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). Salesforce Payments offers an easy-to-use payment solution that quickly and seamlessly collects payments. It includes back-end and front-end components that support payment services offered through Stripe, PayPal, and Apple Pay.

Important: Salesforce Payments (plugin_commercepayments) might not work seamlessly with other integrations and customizations. Proper testing is advised. For more information, see the plug-in’s README file.
  • Salesforce Payment Platforms and Services
    Salesforce Payments supports these payment platforms and services. These payment services are available in any country where Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, and the supported payment services operate.
  • Set up Salesforce Payments
    Before you install the Payments plug-in, ask your Salesforce Support team to enable the Salesforce Payments feature switch for your SFRA site.
  • Salesforce Payments Plug-In
    You can install the Salesforce Payments plug-in with a new storefront reference architecture (SFRA) site or overlay the plug-in on an existing SFRA site.
  • Salesforce Payments Platform Configuration
    To use Salesforce Payments plug-in with your Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) site, you configure your site with Stripe, PayPal (optional), and Apple Pay (optional).
  • Salesforce Payments Storefront Settings
    Use the Business Manager Payments module to configure your storefront payment experience. You can select express and multi-step payment methods, and the payment services for each method.
  • Link Salesforce Payments with Salesforce Order Management
    You can link your existing Salesforce payments-connected Stripe and PayPal accounts with Salesforce Order Management. For easy linking and integration, install the Salesforce Payments for Commerce Cloud package. For Stripe accounts, the package lets Order Management capture payments and issue refunds. For PayPal accounts, the package lets Order Management issue only refunds.
  • Customer Object Import and Export for Salesforce Payments
    You can use the Customer Object (customer.xsd) to import and export site-specific data about payment customers. See Customer Object Import and Export for Customer object details.
  • Run Salesforce Payments on SiteGenesis
    A successful implementation of Salesforce Payments on SiteGenesis includes the same features and functions on the same pages as the features and functions available from the overlay cartridge for SFRA. The following process outlines how to achieve a basic application of Salesforce Payments on SiteGenesis. Where appropriate, we call out when and where different solutions are possible.
