Multi-Anchor Einstein Product Recommendations
Rules for Product to product recommenders are similar to rules for other recommender types. However, Product to Product recommenders also have an anchor field and anchor field value.
Einstein uses the anchor field and the anchor field value to determine whether to apply the remainder of a rule. That is, the anchor helps to determine whether Einstein applies the portion of a rule that is the same as the rules defined for other recommender types.
For example, say a storefront customer views a product, and the product contains a field that matches the anchor field and its anchor field value. In this scenario, the remainder of the rule is evaluated, and the action is applied for matching items. The evaluation is identical to rules applied for all other recommender types.
But say a storefront customer views a product that doesn't match any configured anchor field and anchor field value. In this case, the remainder of the rule is ignored and no action applied.
