You can narrow your results by setting filters.

You can set the filters in this list:

  • Day of Year
  • Severity
  • Tenant Realm

Only the realms for which you have permission appear in the list.

  • Tenant Name

This filter is available only on sandboxes (on cylinder 00); it lets you choose your own sandbox. Enter the name of the sandbox in the filter.

  • Tenant Type

Tenant types can be one the following: sbx for SIG, prd, stag, or dev for PIG, or missing.

  • Domain Name
  • Category Type
  • Request Type
  • Service Type

Use the jwa service type to filter errors returned by the web adapter.

  • Host

A tenant realm can reside across multiple hosts.

  • Activity User
  • Activity Type

Setting Filters

To filter within a category, you click the values to restrict the list of log entries. You can specify multiple values for each value type. For example, you can select multiple non-contiguous hosts.

Filters within the same category are combined using OR logic. For example, if you select "warn" and "error" in the Severity category, any issues either of type "warn" OR of type "error" appear in the list.

Across categories, filters are applied using AND logic.

Note: Within the message histogram, you can drag-select vertical bars to specify a time filter.

Exclude Filters

To search for issues that are not of a specific type, click the NOT icon next to the filter:

For example, to see all issues except issues of type info, click the NOT icon next to Severity and then click info.
