Creating a Unified Profile
When you create a CDP segment, you identify attributes that segment customers by common interests, spending habits, search tendencies, and the like. For example, create a segment of all customers who spent $50 or more in the past 30 days and belong to a loyalty program.
Based on the segmentβs attributes, you generate a unified profile that consists of every individual that meets the attribute criteria. You use the unified profile attributes to generate meaningful commerce experiences, such as promotions and email campaigns, targeted at customers who belong to the unified profile.
The B2C Commerce Customer Group feature uses record fields to identify and connect with customers in the unified profile.
