The Commerce Cloud Tableau Connector facilitates access to your Commerce Cloud base metrics in Tableau. You can then use Tableau to generate customized analytic views of your data.

You can use your Commerce Cloud data in Tableau to create dashboards and data views that are designed for how you do business. The Commerce Cloud Tableau Connector exports your Commerce Cloud analytics data to your Tableau instance. You can use Tableau’s data visualization features to analyze your data without code. - Aggregations Made with Fully Additive and Semi-Additive Measures
Most Commerce Cloud measures are fully additive. To create reliable data views in Tableau, use both fully additive and semi-additive measures. - Fully Additive and Semi-Additive Meausres
The Data subject area tables list for each subject matter area the fully additive and semi-additive measures included in the subject area set. Dimensions that can’t be used with a semi-additive measure are listed as Incompatible. - Commerce Cloud Data Subject Areas
The Tableau connector provides access to data from the Commerce Cloud subject areas. You can select a data subject area data visualization in Tableau. The subject areas are the same analytics data used to generate Commerce Cloud Reports & Dashboards. - Connect to Tableau
To connect your Commerce Cloud data to Tableau requires an API client ID. Use the Web Data Connector option in Tableau, and the client ID to launch the connector and export your data to Tableau.
