Catalogs
Your product data is stored in a catalog. A catalog is a collection of the products that you sell, organized into different categories.

In Business Manager, you can enter product data manually or you can import the data in an XML file and edit the data. Most customers import product data from their Product Information Management system or other system of record, and then enhance it in Business Manager. - Manage Catalogs
Use Business Manager to create, and edit catalogs, and assign catalogs to sites. - Catalog Scenarios

Business Manager supports importing and exporting your catalogs in XML and CSV format. For an easier to read and edit version, export as a CSV file.
