Create a Category
Create categories in Business Manager.
- Select Merchant Tools > Site > Products and Catalogs > Catalogs.
- Click the catalog to which you want to add the category.
- On the Categories page, click New.

Enter a unique Category ID, and Name.
Depending on your category settings, the category name can show in your storefront, and depending on your URL rules, the Category ID can appear in the URL.
- To have the category show in your storefront, select the Online checkbox.
- (Optional) enter a brief description of the category.

Click Apply.
Note: To show the category in the storefront menu navigation, you assign available products to the subcategory, and select the Show in Menu Navigation checkbox under the Category Attributes tab.
- To edit a category, click the category you want to edit. Make your changes and click Apply.
