Base Product and Variation Product Scenarios

The following scenarios describe different ways to present variation products in your storefront.

To create the base product and variation products used in the scenarios, follow the steps in Base Products for Scenarios.

  • Scenario 1
    Group and Sort Products in a Category by Color.
  • Scenario 2
    Assign Products to Slot Configuration Based on Color.
  • Scenario 3
    Assign Color Variation to Recommendation.
  • Scenario 4
    Show Swatches in One Category and Sliced Variations in Another Category.
  • Scenario 5:
    Show Variation Groups, Variation Products, and Base Products with Swatches in a Category.
