Enable the Shopper Context API in Business Manager

The Shopper Context feature toggle is now exposed in Business Manager. Use the toggle for each B2C Commerce instance you want to use the API.

Why: Use the Shopper Context API to add personalization features for your shoppers, such as:
  • Sending a specific promotion based on the shopper’s store selection.
  • Giving early access to products if the shopper is at a specific location.
You can use the Shopper Context API to track contextual information about a shopper, such as location, device type, and more. You can even set a date and time in the future to preview responses for upcoming site changes.

How: To set the feature toggle for an instance, you are required to have the Account Manager, Business Manager Administrator role assigned to your Account Manager user profile. To set the toggle, in Business Manager select Administration > Global Preferences > Feature Switches, and check Enable Shopper Context.
